Although less known, sweetgrass is a purifying agent which can be used to smudge your house (cleaning with smoke). It is also a sacred plant within American Indian tribes and grows in the Rocky Mountains. Sweetgrass is also called ‘the braids of mother earth’. Before harvesting, it is braided.
